The ability to undertake and perform basic survey, setting out and measurements is essential along with your demonstrated skill in developing good working relationship. You will need to demonstrate your skills, knowledge and experience in road and/or bridge construction and maintenance, including the ability to read and interpret contract documents, including technical documents, plans, specifications and drawings. You will be required to provide general assistance during incidents and emergency situations in accordance with the Regional Incident Management Plans. You will also be required to assist with the Integrated Roads Information System audits. This role requires you to contribute to the monitoring of maintenance work and accurately enter inspection data into the Maintenance Management Information System (MMIS) using designated electronic equipment, appropriate training in using MMIS will be providedĪs a successful candidate, you will conduct follow-up monitoring of reported defects to confirm that maintenance has been completed satisfactorily. You will have the responsibility to capture visual information regarding the “on” and “off” road condition using digital camera equipment. As part of this role, you will also assist and provide general support and surveillance in the Delivery of Works.
